Meet Tom

Let's come to the Product Story(Design Process to E2E)
Concern - "Why Pay the same as everyone else when you're committed to your health? With Healthcircle rewards your wellness journey with lower premiums and cash-back incentives"
He’s a 30-year-old who’s passionate about staying healthy. He goes to the gym regularly, eats well, and uses a fitness tracker to monitor his progress. But every year, when his health insurance bill comes in, Tom feels frustrated. Despite his efforts to stay fit, he’s paying the same premiums as people who might not take care of themselves as well. It just doesn’t feel fair.
That’s where HealthCircle comes in.
With HealthCircle, Tom can join or create a group of like-minded, health-conscious people. They all pool their premiums together. Here’s the best part: if the group stays healthy and doesn’t need to make significant claims, they get a portion of their premiums refunded at the end of the year. HealthCircle even syncs with their fitness trackers to adjust premiums based on their healthy habits in real time.
She spends time at the gym, eats clean, and uses a smartwatch to track her health stats. She is diligent about her wellness, but every time she gets her health insurance bill, it stings. It feels unfair to her—someone who’s investing in staying healthy—that she is paying the same premiums as others who might not take care of themselves in the same way. No matter how hard she tries, her efforts don’t translate into savings on her insurance.
Now, imagine if things were different. What if her healthy habits actually lowered her insurance costs? What if she could join a group of like-minded individuals who prioritize wellness, pool their resources together, and see direct benefits from staying healthy? That’s where HealthCircle comes in.
Sarah, a 35-year-old fitness enthusiast
The first thing the platform asks her is to either join an existing wellness group or create her own. She decides to form a group with her gym buddies – people she knows are just as committed to staying fit. She names it “Fit & Focused” and sends out invites.
Soon, her friends join, and they’re all connected through the platform. HealthCircle asks them to sync their wearable devices, like their smartwatches and fitness trackers. It feels seamless. Their daily steps, workout routines, and even sleep patterns start to feed into the system.
As they go about their lives, hitting the gym, eating clean, and tracking their progress, HealthCircle monitors their wellness metrics. It’s not intrusive, but reassuring – they’re being rewarded for something they already do.
Sarah signs up for HealthCircle.
Sarah notices that their premiums have started to adjust – dynamically. The healthier their group is as a whole, the lower their premiums get. It’s a real-time reflection of their efforts. They’re essentially in control of how much they pay by how well they manage their health.
Sarah feels like she’s finally part of an insurance model that’s fair. The platform’s transparency, powered by blockchain technology, ensures there are no hidden fees or arbitrary decisions. Claims are handled automatically for smaller expenses, like routine check-ups, and if there’s ever a larger claim, the group discusses it. The decision-making is in their hands – no middlemen, no bureaucracy.
As the group’s health data rolls in,
something exciting happens. No significant claims are made. At the end of the coverage period, HealthCircle sends her an exciting notification – “Congratulations! You’re eligible for a premium refund.”
She clicks through, and there it is – a portion of the money she and her group paid in premiums is being refunded. They’ve earned it by maintaining their health. It’s more than just financial savings – it’s a tangible reward for their commitment to wellness.
Months go by, and Sarah’s group remains healthy.
She realizes HealthCircle has changed how she views insurance. It’s no longer a burden but an active part of her life. It’s motivated her to stay healthy, to stay connected with her fitness community, and to track her progress more diligently.
HealthCircle isn’t just about insurance anymore – it’s about fostering a culture of wellness. It’s given her a sense of ownership, transparency, and fairness in a world where traditional insurance models felt like they penalized the healthy.
Sarah and her group continue their fitness journeys, and HealthCircle grows with them. They bring in more friends, share their success stories, and feel part of a community that’s invested in each other’s well-being.
As Sarah enjoys her refund
It creates a ripple effect. Health-conscious individuals all over are forming their own groups – communities of people who believe in preventive care and are finally seeing financial rewards for it. As more people join, the system becomes even more robust, with data partnerships with health apps and wearable companies further enhancing the platform.
The story of HealthCircle is one of empowerment, fairness, and transparency. It’s insurance, reimagined – built for people like Sarah who take care of their health and want an insurance model that does the same.
In a world where health insurance once felt like a necessary evil, HealthCircle makes it a source of pride and connection – a platform that brings together people who strive to live well, while saving money in the process.
The future of insurance is personal, transparent, and community-driven – and HealthCircle is leading the way.
Health-Circle’s impact reaches beyond Sarah and her group.

DISCOVER PHASE
In the discovery phase, we conducted comprehensive research to uncover the major pain points that business and users face(Health Conscious people) with traditional health insurance . We explored the gaps in the current market and how technology can address these challenges.
User Pain Points
49% of consumers find insurance products difficult to understand, leading to confusion.26% of individuals avoid purchasing insurance altogether due to complex terms and hidden costs. Outdated insurance models lack transparency, personalization, and efficient claims processing.67% of policyholders are dissatisfied with rigid premiums that don’t reflect individual health behaviors. There are no incentives for preventive health habits, further frustrating health-conscious users.
Unfair Premiums - Health-conscious individuals pay the same premiums as higher-risk individuals, leading to a lack of motivation for preventive care.
Lack of Transparency - Traditional insurance processes are often opaque, with users unable to clearly understand how their premiums are used or why claims are denied.
Slow Claims Process - Users face delays and inefficiencies in getting claims approved and paid out.
No Rewards for Healthy Behavior - There is no incentive for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, even though it reduces the likelihood of claims.

Industry Gaps
Limited Personalization - Most insurance models don’t tailor premiums or coverage based on individual health behaviors or wellness goals.
Lack of Innovation in Technology -Traditional insurers haven’t fully utilized blockchain and smart contracts for claims transparency or automation.
Community Engagement - No platform effectively encourages group wellness or social accountability in health insurance.
Solution Exploration
During this phase, we explored how blockchain could bring transparency to the entire insurance process, making every transaction and decision traceable. Smart contracts were identified as a way to automate claims, reducing processing time and eliminating human error or bias. Furthermore, wearable health data was examined as a tool to adjust premiums dynamically, providing real-time rewards for healthy behavior. This phase laid the foundation for designing a platform that bridges the gap between health and financial benefits.
DEFINE PHASE
In the Define Phase, we synthesized the insights gathered during the discovery phase to clearly define the key problems, user needs, and business goals for HealthCircle. This phase was crucial for setting the strategic direction of the product and outlining the design approach.
